Ottoman Palace Cuisine Ottoman palace cuisine is an indisputable masterpiece and cultural heritage of Turkey. It combines the best characters from many cultures: Turkish, Arabic, Mediterranean, Balkan, Caucasian and others… Best chefs of the magnificent period, during many centuries, created their culinary masterpieces for the Sultans and their courtiers. Recipes were carefully stored and transmitted from one generation to another! Unfortunately, with the fall of the Ottoman Empire, this unique legacy almost completely disappeared and became oblivious. ⠀ We believe that this is wrong and unfair! And we really want to fix it!!

Armin S2024-05-13Culinary travel back to the past! What a spot! The restaurant was highly recommend to me by a Turkish friend and we got not disappointed. Definitely the best dining experience we made in Turkey. All dishes we tried were typical recipies out of the old Ottoman tradition and not comparable to what is offered usually in "normal" turkish restaurants. Many signature dishes and thus I would especially recommend the goose pastry. My octopus as a starter was one of the best I ever had (and believe me, I had quite a few!). The wine selection is the best I have seen in Turkey - but get prepared to pay the price. Service level was outstanding, distinguished but nevertheless with a very good sense of humour. We had a great evening and were the last guests standing.....and leaving happily!Verified
